Judy loves curling up with an inspirational book, a cup of tea and her dog and cats. she loves being near the peacefulness of a lake or ocean, and spending time with her family and friends.

Judy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Advanced Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Her foundation for helping her clients starts with her Masters level training through Methodist Theological School in Ohio and the University of Dayton. She uses a combination of theoretical approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy components, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She has been counseling for more than 15 years and believes that all human beings have an inner potential to overcome life obstacles of the human condition by focusing on the dimensions of mind, body and spirit. This potential is more readily unleashed in the context of emotional support and nurturing, which Judy provides to each client. Some of her clinical interests include Women’s issues in the context of Depression, Anxiety, and Food Addiction.
